Who we are

Ticketomat® is an internet-based, self-operating ticket system!
Ticketomat® is an intermediary between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Ticketomat is not liable for ticket purchases or ticket sales. The ticket seller is responsible for the event and the service to be provided. Trading takes place between the ticket buyer and the ticket seller.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Information on events, participants and ticket buyers

When you create, submit, import, store, or publish event ticket information, receive RSVPs, or purchase event tickets, that information is stored in the local database:

  1. Attendee information (RSVPs and tickets): name and email address
  2. Ticket information (RSVPs and tickets): name, email address and ticket number/SKU (via check-in page)
  3. Information about the ticket buyer: name and email address
  4. Billing address of the ticket buyer collected through the use of WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads or PayPal

While you visit our ticket shop, we keep track of the following:

  • Products you’ve viewed: We use this, for example, to show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: We use this for purposes such as estimating taxes and shipping costs
  • Shipping address: We ask you to enter this so that we can, for example, estimate shipping before you place an order and send you the order!

We also use cookies to track shopping cart contents as you browse our website.

When you shop with us, we ask you to provide information such as your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details, and optional account information such as a username and password. We use this information for the following purposes:

  • Send information about your account and your order
  • Respond to your inquiries, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our shop
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as B. the calculation of taxes
  • Improve our store offerings
  • Send you marketing communications if you choose to receive them

If you create an account we will store your name, address, email address and phone number which will be used to complete the checkout for future orders.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it and we are not legally required to keep it longer. For example, we store order information for 10 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, your e-mail address and your billing and delivery address.

We also store comments or ratings if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide to us. For example, both admins and shop managers can access:

  • Order information such as what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent and
  • Customer information such as your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to fulfill orders, process refunds and provide you with support.

What we share with others

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and warehousing services to you; for example: Google Analytics, Stripe.


We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be shared with Stripe, including information necessary to process or support the payment, such as: B. the purchase amount and billing information.


When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string (also known as a hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service can be found here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you don’t have to re-enter your details when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.

When you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set several cookies to remember your login information and your screen display options. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will remain for two weeks. Logging out of your account will remove the login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only shows the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to this website.

With whom we share your data

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights you have to your data

If you have an account on this website or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal information we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Where we send your data to

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
